Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for purchases on Theater of Kami. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Payments and refunds are handled by Paddle
Purchases are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Refunds, where due, are issued to your original payment method through Paddle. You will have received an email receipt from Paddle with an order reference for each purchase.
Coins (one-time purchases)
Coins are digital content delivered to your account immediately after purchase. Coins that have already been spent are non-refundable. If you have unused coins from a recent purchase and believe a refund is warranted, contact us.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew monthly at the tier you chose. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep your subscriber benefits and that month's coins until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide partial refunds for the current period once it has begun, except where required by law.
EU/UK consumers: right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Because coins and digital content are made available to you immediately, by completing your purchase you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been accessed or coins have been used.
Faulty or undelivered purchases
If you were charged but did not receive your coins or benefits, or the Service is materially defective, contact us and we will investigate and provide a refund where appropriate.
Content the AI declines to generate
Our AI providers enforce their own content policies and may decline to generate text or images in response to input that is prohibited or restricted, or that otherwise breaches our Terms & Conditions or the providers' acceptable-use rules. A blocked or declined generation is the expected, correct behavior of the Service — not a fault or a failure to deliver — so coins spent on attempts that are declined for this reason are non-refundable.
How to request a refund
Email stagehand@theaterofkami.com with the email address on your account and the order reference from your Paddle receipt. You can also use the contact link on the Paddle receipt itself. We aim to respond within a few business days.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than your bank can. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us, or found to be fraudulent, may result in suspension of your account.
